CURRENT STATUS OF THE COMMISSION

THE NEW CONSTITUTION WAS VOTED AT 93%

(26th May 2003)

Rwandans were explained the views that contained in the draft Constitution,
Vice President Hon. MUKEZAMFURA Alfred in the district of Bugarama in Cyangugu Province.

The New Constitution focussed on women and gave 30% of the posts at National Level in decision making.

The President of the commission Tito RUTAREMARA explaining to the representative of the European union
the process of drafting the new constitution.

The President of the Comission Hon. Tito RUTAREMARA explaining to the President of the National Assembly of Tanzania
Hon. Pius MUSERUKWA the process of drafting the constitution.

The President of the Republic His Excellency Paul KAGAME also voted the New Constitution.

The New Constitution embraces the youth here is a young lady voting for the new constitution..

Rwandans participated in voting the Constitution because it contains their views.

The voting of the new Constitution was done in transparency and enough security.

The President of the Comission Tito RUTAREMARA expressed to the media how he was happy about the Rwandans
and the voting of the Constitution which answering their problems.
